Accepting the Terms.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Milky Tallow ("Milky Tallow," "we," "us," or "our"), a small-batch skincare business based in British Columbia, Canada. By visiting this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

- "Products" means the skincare and related goods we offer.
- "You" / "Customer" means any visitor or purchaser.
- "Order" means a request to purchase Products through the Site.
Eligibility & acceptable use.
Who can order
You must be the age of majority in your province or state (or have a parent/guardian's permission) and able to form a binding contract to place an Order.
What you agree to
You agree not to misuse the Site — including accessing restricted systems, interfering with security, scraping content without permission, introducing malware, or using the Site unlawfully.
Keep it secure
If you create an account, you are responsible for the confidentiality of your login and all activity under it. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
We may restrict access
We may refuse service, cancel Orders, or restrict access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms.
Ordering and fulfillment.
When you place an Order, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and complete. Submitting an Order is an offer to purchase; an Order is accepted only once it has been processed and dispatched. We may refuse or cancel an Order for reasons including suspected fraud, inventory limits, or pricing errors.
- Order confirmation: you'll receive a confirmation email after checkout.
- Acceptance: an Order is accepted once processed and dispatched.
- Limitations: we may limit quantities per customer or per Order.
Prices and payments.
Pricing accuracy
Prices are shown at checkout and may change without notice. If a pricing or listing error occurs, we may cancel the affected Order and refund you, and we'll contact you if a correction is needed.
Your responsibility
Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. For international orders, duties and import taxes may be assessed by your country and are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Secure processing
Payments are processed by secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full payment card details. You authorize us to charge your selected method for the Order total.
Points & discounts
Loyalty points and promo codes have no cash value, may be subject to conditions, and may be adjusted or revoked on returns, cancellations, or abuse.
Delivery and returns.
Shipping times are estimates and can vary due to carrier delays, weather, or peak periods. Because our products are personal-care items, we follow a hygiene-first returns policy — opened or used items generally cannot be returned. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, we'll make it right. Full details are on our dedicated pages.
7. Intellectual PropertyContent & brand assets.
All Site content — text, images, logos, product names, graphics, and design — is owned by or licensed to Milky Tallow and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. Submitting reviews or other content grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce it in connection with our business.
8. Skincare & Product DisclaimersImportant notices.
Informational only
Content on this Site is general information, not medical advice. If you have a condition, allergy, or are under a clinician's care, consult a healthcare professional before use.
Skin is individual
We recommend patch testing before full use, especially if you are sensitive to actives or botanicals. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Review ingredients
Formulas may include botanicals, essential oils in some products, and dairy-derived ingredients in certain items. Full INCI lists are on every product label.
No guarantees
Skincare results differ from person to person. We make no guarantee of specific outcomes.
"As is" basis.
The Site and Products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of LiabilityLimits on our liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Milky Tallow and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or Products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an Order will not exceed the amount you paid for that Order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
11. IndemnificationResponsibility for misuse.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Milky Tallow from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
12. Governing Law & DisputesWhere disputes are handled.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and the parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other. This does not affect mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your place of residence.
13. Changes to These TermsUpdates.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. GeneralThe fine print.
- Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Site.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure: we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
